September 2007 Information:

Awana Clubs at CBC is for children aged 3 years old through 5th grade. Each club includes Bible memorization, unique games, and an age appropriate message from God's Word. Throughout the year there are special events like weekly theme nights, Awana Store, Awana Games, Awana Bible Quiz, and the Awana Grand Prix. Awana welcomes anyone in the community and includes children of CBC attenders, children from other churches in the Rogue Valley, and children that do not attend church.

Awana Club begins at 6:30pm on September 19th. This club concludes at 8:00pm. If you have any questions about Awana, please contact Commmander Tom Dunlap at 664-4185.

Awana is an international, non-denominational Bible-centered youth organization providing weekday Clubs and programs.  Our Club is designed for children 3 years through 5th Grade.

Cubbies (3 years-Pre-Kindergarten), Sparks (Kindergarten-2nd Grade), and Truth & Training ("TNT" for 3rd-5th Grade) meet Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. from late September through mid-April.

Each spring, CBC hosts the Awana Grand Prix. During this event, each child with assistance from their parent/guardian designs and assembles a miniature, pine block race car.   This is a fun opportunity for parents and children to work together on a project, and then come together with other children for a friendly morning at the races.   Also, youth and adults may compete in their own division!   First-, second- and third-place trophies are awarded by club for Speed and Design, and all participants receive a racing packet and participation ribbon.

If you are interested in getting your child involved in AWANA, just come any Wednesday night late September through mid-April and register your child in his or her Club.  At that time you will receive an information sheet giving details pertinent to that Club.
